best, simplest way to take care of serissa bonsai?
BonsaiMark,
Thanks for the advice, I also think Chinese elms are very nice and would make great indoor bonsai. However, money was my biggest issue and Chinese elms are bit expensive. I purchased a serissa starter bonsai with a beautiful trunk shape. The tree looks healthy to me, but I have no way of knowing. I also read that they are very "fussy" and require a lot of care after I purchased it.
What is the best, easiest way to take care of such a fussy plant?

Hi Tanlu,
The Serissa makes a great bonsai, but it loves humidity. We have not received a care sheet for the Serissa yet, but i'll refer you to this website for more details. http://www.shbonsai.com/care_serissa.html
From experience, do not place a Serissa near a heater or other sources of dry heat. Also place the tree on a humidity tray and keep the tray filed with water. As the water evaporates it will create humidity. And finally, do not let the roots dry out.
Hopefully this help you.
